Product details

uRanibizumab is a recombinant anti-VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) humanized monoclonal antibody Fab VEGF. Ranibizumab reduces vascular endothelial cell proliferation, vascular leakage and neovascularization by binding and blocking VEGF receptor ,and promotes the regression of existing neovascularization.

uRanibizumab consists of two parts: a non-binding humanized fragment which can reduce immunogenicity and a  high affinity antigenic determinant of mouse, it is a recombinant Fab fragment of anti-VEGF IgG1 κ humanized monoclonal antibody, its molecular weight is 48Kd.

uThe light chain cysteine position is 23,88,134,194,214. The disulfide bond in amino acid chain is formed by cysteine between 23 ,88 or 134,194.

uThe heavy chain cysteine position is 22,96,150,206,226. The disulfide bond in amino acid chain is formed by cysteine between 22 ,96 or 206,226.

uThe disulfide bond between the light chain and the heavy chain is linked by the last cysteine residue of the light chain (amino acid 214) and the third cysteine residue of the heavy chain (amino acid 150) .
