Romidepsin (FR 901228) is an HDAC inhibitor targeting HDAC1/2/4/6 with IC50 values of 36/47/510/1400 nM. It has antitumor activity and is used to treat peripheral and cutaneous T-cell lymphomas.Romidepsin (FK 228), derived from Chromobacterium violaceum, induces G2/M cell cycle arrest and apoptosis.
